Clubs and Organizations
Student ambassadors provide assistance to the admissions team and the entire MacCormac community. They are leaders and representatives of MacCormac and are expected to uphold the ideals and mission of the College at both outreach programs and events held on campus. For more information, please contact Dr. Kenya Grooms.
The MacCormac College Student Government Association (SGA) plans activities at the College and serves as an advocate for students. The mission of the SGA is to provide insight to the administration from the student prospective of campus life; enhance the academic environment through involvement in the Center for Academic, Personal and Professional Excellence (CAPPE); provide our peers with opportunities that will increase their knowledge, academic and professional success; and uphold the mission of MacCormac College.
The vision is to promote full cooperation and cohesion between students, faculty and staff, therefore, increasing the synergy of the entire College.
For more information, please contact Kenya Grooms, Interim Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of Student Affairs.
The Paralegal Club is a club for students interested in Paralegal Studies. While it is primarily comprised of students in the program, it is open to any MacCormac student currently enrolled at the College. The club meets once a month on campus and has an elected president and secretary. Members organize field trips, speakers and events to help connect students in the program to paralegal and law professionals and develop potential employment relationships and opportunities. Examples of activities that the Paralegal Club has organized are: law-related movie presentations; speaker invitations on campus; meet- and-greet with local law firms; and off-campus field trips. The Paralegal Club also supports Sarah's Inn, a domestic violence shelter, during various gift and fundraising activities. For more information please contact Mr. Grassi, Program Director of Paralegal Studies.
