Power Paws For Kids Visits MacCormac Students For Stress Relief

Tuesday, February 28, 2017

On Tuesday, 28 February 2017, MacCormac College opened it's doors for some furry friends to come by and help relieve some of the growing stress that our students have as midterms week approaches. Power Paws For Kids is a wonderful organization that brings certified dogs and puppys to schools, nursing homes, libraries, etc. to help brighten the spirits of whomever they are around. These dogs definitely helped brightened the spirits of our students as midterms week is right around the corner. Through their wonderful cuddles to their loving licks these dogs were able to put a smile on each and every students face that they came in contact with this morning. Not only did these puppies inspire our students to continue to work hard in getting their degrees, they inspired WGN You & Me In The Morning to come out and visit with us to get in on the experience as well! Overall the event was a huge success and we greatly look forward to inviting back Power Paws to brighten the students day again sometime soon in the future!
