The MC court reporting program offers flexibility with day, evening, and online classes, one-on-one attention, the most up-to-date technology and the tools to prepare students to take the state certification exams. As the nation’s oldest court reporting school in the country, MacCormac not only trains future court reporters but also caters to working reporters with its CART and captioning program, which is designed for those interested in boosting earning potential and bolstering their credentials.

Paralegal Studies

MacCormac was the first College in the state of Illinois to offer a Paralegal Studies program. Not only is the Paralegal Studies program at MC sought after because of its long history, but it is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). Students enrolled in the Paralegal Studies program enjoy day, evening, or online classes and can look forward to a wide range of career paths that include moving directly into the workforce as a paralegal or legal secretary or continuing their education to become attorneys.

Criminal Justice

Students in the Criminal Justice program complete a two-year curriculum studying crime, law, and the justice system. At MacCormac College you will receive hands-on instruction from highly qualified instructors. The Criminal Justice program at MacCormac prepares students to become police officers, security guards, correctional officers, detectives, and to work in crime scene investigation. Many graduates of the program will go on to complete a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at a four-year institution.

The Business Administration program educates students in the fundamental concepts, techniques and skills necessary to excel in various global business-related fields. Students receive a foundation in Business Studies including entrepreneurship, accounting, management, marketing, global business and economics.  Many graduates of the Business Administration program at MacCormac College continue their education at four-year institutions.
